  6. We don’t have rice at our Thanksgiving Dinner so it would not be a disaster if it spilled 🙂 We’re Turkey, candied yams, green beans, fluffy dinner rolls and pecan pie for dessert. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving with lots of family!!!

  7. Do you celebrate Thanksgiving twice? Or just go with the Canadian holiday? Don’t enter me to win, because I already preordered. 🙂

    • Last year, we celebrated both as we slid toward fitting into the culture. This year, we’re celebrating only the Canadian holiday. Black Friday is awkward, but they still celebrate it up here. Some things can’t help but translate, or all the Canadians would simply drive down and get their sale goodies and take the chance on being caught on the way back up.

  8. She spilled the milk and rice flew everywhere. I can’t wait to read this. I’ve been looking forward to it!
