Hello, everyone. We’re beginning a new month, a new quarter of the year, and the last quarter of 2015. I can’t believe this year is almost over. It seems like it just began!

I’m busy behind the scenes writing, editing, and generally making mischief. I hope to have three more books published this year, and one more re-release as well. No dates are forthcoming yet, as the books sit with publishers waiting in the publication queue. However, you will know when I know.

And speaking of new books and publishing, I’m going to be releasing advance reader copies (ARCs) of new books as they become available to me. These copies are not like beta copies (the stuff before editing); they are edited and nearly ready to go on sale. But the ARCs will only be available to Street Team Members.

PG's Perfect PosseWhat’s a Street Team, and why should I join?

A Street Team is a way for an author and readers to connect in a more personal manner. Street Team Members get bonus materials (like ARCs) in exchange for release-day reviews, feedback, good will; and they also get swag, giveaways, and opportunities to really make a difference in the books they read by that author by sharing their creativity, or participating in simple opinion surveys. I will also share milestones, a little personal information, and links to things you might be interested in. I will not try to sell you stuff, like other people’s books. I promote other people’s books here on my site and sometimes on Twitter, but I won’t be doing it in our Street Team. I don’t want to burden you with any implied obligation to buy something.

What do I have to do if I join the Street Team?

You are requested to participate in several ways:

  • Reviewing books you are gifted;
  • Distributing materials to interested parties when appropriate;
  • Providing word of mouth endorsements via social media;
  • Subscribing to my blog/newsletter feed (upper right on this page);
  • Giving your input and opinions in our closed FB group or via email.

There is no cost to join. I like to think of it as a mutually beneficial arrangement. I give you stuff, you support my work. Easy as can be. There is no pressure to perform. If you have a family emergency or a health issue, I won’t kick you in the butt. There are priorities in life, and while I hope you’ll honor our mutual commitment, I will understand it if you need a break.

How do I sign up?

Fill out this form and join the closed FB group. Maranda or I will send you the group invitation once we have your information. You might get a friend request from one or both of us. Only members are allowed into the group and only members can see the posts. Please note: the form requires your mailing name and street address. I want to send you swag, and some of that is physical material.

I hope you’ll take the plunge and join PG’s Perfect Posse Street Team. I look forward to interacting with you.
