Welcome! This post is part of the Weekend Writing Warriors blog hop.

This week, I’d like to share something new. It resides with my publisher now, waiting on its final edits. Striker is a crime/mystery erotic spanking romance. (Clearly, it is not discriminating among genres.) This is my first book for 2015, and my 31st book overall (including a few written under a pen name). I’m particularly proud of it as it represents the beginning of a transition for me.

In this segment, Jase Striker, police detective, finds his brand new partner, Angelica Piccolino, sitting at his desk, looking over his files. They haven’t hit it off well, and this doesn’t make it better.

I poked my head into Piccolino’s space, intending to make peace, but she wasn’t there. Maybe she had to pee. I shrugged and walked across the aisle to my own desk.

There she was. Sitting in my chair, at my desk, poring over the case file I’d left there. She spoke up before I could give her a piece of my mind.

“Quiet as a yak.”

“Are you always so abrasive, or do I bring out your finer qualities?”

The new partnership is going to take some getting used to.

Hop along to all the other Weekend Writing Warriors’ sites. There’s a lot to read.

Cover: Kiki's MillionaireWelcome! This post is part of the Weekend Writing Warriors blog hop. The following is a small segment of my first spanking romance novella, Kiki’s Millionaire (blurb and extended excerpt available from this link). It was published in 2010 as a serial, and later as a normal book through Blushing Books, Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

In this segment, Kiki is out on her first date with the prosperous and popular, Jim Chesterfield. Unfortunately, she’s got a bit of a potty mouth, and Jim has warned her numerous times that it’s a lousy habit to be in. He’s even threatened a spanking. At dinner, Kiki makes something of a spectacle of herself.

“You’re acting like a spoiled little girl.”

“You’re acting like a fucking pompous jackass.”

His frown deepened and he slid out of the booth, dragging her by the arm. “You deserve a spanking. Into the car. Now.”

“You wouldn’t dare,” she hissed.

“Oh, but I do dare.”

Of course, she’ll be given the choice of a spanking or a ride home with no further contact. Jim is hunky, rich, and a truly nice guy. Which do you think she’ll choose?

You can pick up a copy of Kiki’s Millionaire at these fine retailers:

Blushing Books, Amazon.com, and Barnes & Noble.

Cover: Kiki's MillionaireWelcome to Weekend Writing Warriors on Patricia Green Books. I have a large back list of books (over 20). Since I won’t have a new release until April, I thought I’d share something from one of my books from earlier in my career, Kiki’s Millionaire (blurb and extended excerpt here). You read that right, “Millionaire,” not “Billionaire.” Hey, we all need to start somewhere.

In this segment, Kiki and Jim meet for the first time. They’re in a coffee shop and Kiki is having a serious problem with her laptop. Jim approaches, offering to help.

“Are you with Geek Squad or something?”

“Something like that. My name is Jim Chesterfield.” He said it like she ought to know him, so she looked at him for a moment, narrowing her eyes as she thought.

“Jim Chesterfield…James Chesterfield? The James Chesterfield?”

A slightly embarrassed look washed over his face, followed by a playful grin. “That’s what my mother calls me.”

I hope you enjoyed this little piece of Kiki’s Millionaire. The book can be found at these retailers:

Blushing Books, Amazon.com, and Barnes & Noble.

Thank you for joining me here today. Hop along to the other Weekend Writing Warriors and see what they have to offer. There’s something for everyone!
