While it’s very important to me to sell books, there are bigger things to think about. And, the bottom line is that without freedom of speech, I wouldn’t be able to sell even one of my books legitimately. Consider countries where speech is not protected and imagine exactly how repulsive it would be to have to buy your books – erotic or otherwise – from an underground black market. Imagine how scary it would be to think about being caught with “subversive” material. Imagine getting arrested for having it!
Protecting our free speech and the freedom which we so enjoy (in all the Commonwealth and US territories), is a primary goal of having a military presence in the world. That military presence is made up of men and women who would fight for our rights, and die if necessary. Dying over books is not unheard of, and though our military men and women might not think of that kind of minutia and are probably more focused on the bigger picture, the fact remains that there are brave people protecting our freedom.
I hope we can all remember our fine military heroes (even those not decorated) for the great service they do on our behalf. As you celebrate Veteran’s Day or Remembrance Day, keep them in mind.
Here’s a little piece of that freedom for you – buy a book!
Blurb for Liv’s Journey (with Army Major Trey Journey as the hero of the story)…
Liv Aune, a successful plus-size model, is at war with food. Unfortunately, while struggling with that, a paparazzi snaps an incriminating photo of her and it could mean the end of her career.
Trey Journey believes it unfair to inflict his dangerous military lifestyle on a wife and kids. But when he meets Liv while on leave at his family’s Texas ranch, he’s torn. To him, she’s an angel needing help.
Neither thinks the other wants to make it permanent so they have to find their balancing point, the place where spanking discipline meets spanking pleasure, bringing them together forever.
While you’re here, leave a comment with your email address below, and you’ll be entered in a drawing for one of three copies of my novelette, Psyched Out. It’s a quick read that’s funny, romantic and erotic. It would be a great introduction to what I have to offer. And how can you beat FREE? Oh, and one more thing, if you enter the drawing, please keep an eye out for a winner notice. There have been occurrences where a winner notice has ended up in a spam folder and after a while the prize is forfeit. Don’t let that happen to you!
Thank you for joining me here today! Good luck!
