Odd and eccentric, and dragging along two eunuchs and a mute black maid, Glee Montrose is certainly not what you'd expect to find on a wagon train crossing the United States. But this is a wagon train of just one wagon, and guiding Glee is a filthy bounty-hunter needing funding to get across the country to turn in his current prize. Notorious murderer and rapist Esteban Garcia is that prize, though the scoundrel insists that he's a victim of mistaken identity. As they travel, Glee makes sure that Garcia is treated more humanely than the bounty-hunter would otherwise. After a while, she's not so sure whether the prisoner is Esteban Garcia or Alejandro Pacheco as he claims. In either case, he's dangerously appealing. Will the prisoner take Glee's heart captive?
