In celebration of my recent release, Journey’s Valentine, I’m going to share a little from Deuce’s Dancer, the first book about Pilar Pérez and Deuce Journey. You don’t have to read either one first in order to follow the story easily. They each stand alone.

This week, I’m sharing a few bits and pieces of my full-length historical romance, Under Wraps. Under Wraps is a sexy, adventure romance about an eccentric heiress (Glee Montrose) and a bounty hunter’s handsome prisoner (Alejandro Pacheco aka Esteban Garcia). It’s not as erotic as my other works, but there are some toast-scorchers, a lot almost-not-quite ripping of bodices, and other stuff that’ll hold your attention though 86,000 words.

For my snippet, I’m sharing a segment where Glee finds herself locked in a cell with the prisoner who claims to be Alejandro Pacheco. Everyone else believes him to be the murderer, Esteban Garcia. Glee, however, isn’t sure of anything. Nonetheless, she’s deeply attracted to the appealing man, and finds herself submitting to him in the jail cell. She is very much the innocent.

The first flick of his tongue against her nipple was enough to make her arch her back and push her breast against his mouth with a breathy moan. He chuckled. “Ah, my little cat growls. Does she want more, or less?”

These past few weeks have been “dredge up Trish’s old stuff” time. On Monday, I offered an article on “Why I Write Erotica” and today, I’m looking at my earliest eBook, Four Part Hermony, published for the second time in 2002 by Renaissance E Books. Four Part Hermony was my second published F/F erotic book, the first one being Distant Love by A. L. Reine, long out of print. Four Part Hermony is a collection of short stories. This excerpt is from “Exchange”, a short story about a French exchange student who rocks the world of the woman whose home she is sharing temporarily. Natalie is the French exchange student, and in this scene, she is beginning her seduction of the less experienced, older Alice.

That ear was given great attention with both teeth and tongue until Alice’s knees began to feel rubbery. Soon though, Natalie retraced her mouth’s path to the side of Alice’s neck and sank her strong white teeth into the flesh there. Alice became slightly dizzy from the wolfbite, as the blood supply through her jugular was suspended for a moment and then returned with a rush, and she made a small noise, surprise and pleasure in her gasp.

This week I’d like to introduce you to book 2 of my Daughter of the Moon series. This one’s entitled, Daughter of the Moon, Book 2: Depths. It takes place after a nuclear holocaust that forces the group of friends down to an underground bunker. It’s a huge space, but still underground and they’re all kind of stuck there for 15 years or so. This takes place during the early part of the book, where Mikhail (our hero) and Sonata (our heroine) are finding their way through the maze of their burgeoning relationship.

Mikhail is telling his friend Hector about what he saw during a “comm” conversation before they went underground. Mikhail is no prude, but Sonata was quite the innocent when this episode transpired. He hates to see her innocence lost, especially to the very jaded Charles.

I could see Sonata behind him on the screen. She got up off the floor and walked away from the video comm, and when I saw her butt I thought she’d been in an accident or something. It was fiery red. I asked if she’d had a bad sunburn or the like, and Charles informed me, nonchalantly, that she’d asked him to spank her and he had.” Mikhail’s voice shook with fury. “He then pointedly told me to keep my nose out of his business. Her sweet ass was bright red, Hector. That was no slap and tickle game they’d been playing.”

We’ve gone through a bit of the Journey Family series over the last several weeks, so now I’d like to change it up. Quite a lot, really. This week, I’m sharing a bit of my sci-fi (speculative), romance novel series, Daughter of the Moon. This is from Book 1: Surface. Most of you haven’t been exposed to this one. It’s from my catalog, and was released at Renaissance E Books more than 10 years ago. The cover is…meh…but the book is an oldie but goody.

I broke a few “romance rules” in this book, and here’s a scene where I veered off the path a little. Herein, Sonata (our heroine) is having sex with our nemesis, Charles. He’s a little on the rough side, generally, but here he’s giving her a taste of pleasure instead. Gotta have the good and the bad, eh?
