I have a politically incorrect view on feminism. As I interpret the origins of feminism, it was intended to open doors for women, give them choices, make their lives more fulfilled. As of today’s posting, however, I find women to be more neurotic, more driven to depression, more haggard, given fewer choices, than any time I’ve experienced or read about.

Most have to work and yet manage a home. (Generally, they partner with men for this, and that can alleviate some of the stress.) There is huge pressure on SAHMs to get out in the workforce as soon as they can, put their children in daycare for indoctrination and generally get onto the hamster wheel. Once in the workforce, women are frowned upon if they don’t ambitiously strive to be the company CEO. They are discouraged from taking time off to tend to sick children or aging parents. Their peer group (other women) puts pressure on them to be superwoman or be shunned. This drives a lot of women into depression and runs them ragged, when what they really want to be is nurturing, peaceful, creative and steady.

This does not apply to all women, but from what I’ve seen, it sure applies to most.

How does spanking fit in? Well, let’s say you are a spanked wife (or girlfriend). Can you imagine telling your sister or your co-worker? The “A-word” (abuse) would be right there, hanging out like bad breath. Most feminists would chalk a woman’s desire for disciplinary spanking to be sick, a horrific product of the patriarchy. And yet, so many of us want to have the structure, the peace, that comes with knowing that you have a partner who cares enough to help you correct your own unwanted behaviors. And that doesn’t even get into erotic spanking, which feminists are slightly more likely to accept, but you have to remember, radical feminists think having sex while half-asleep (already in bed with the guy and having shared that intimacy before) is akin to rape. As Dave Barry would say, “I’m not making this stuff up.”

So…in my opinion, modern feminism does not allow for spanking. This despite the fact that originally feminism was intended to give women more freedom to explore all their options. Political correctness takes away all those choices and tries to put women in a single, square, unyielding box.

Being in a box makes me claustrophobic. I don’t know about you.

In this segment, Kiki has faked being sick because she’s avoiding Jim. Rather than telling him she needs a little time, she makes up a very elaborate lie. Jim is not the kind of guy who likes being lied to, and this is one of those cases when saying “I’m sorry” isn’t good enough.

“I think a little corporal punishment is in order.” He unbuckled his belt and slid it from the loops.

Feeling a sense of guilt mixed with an annoying tingle of anticipation down in her nether regions she thought about trying to talk him out of it. “Now, Jim…”

With a firm yank on her upper arms, he soon had her over his knees. Suddenly, this seemed entirely too familiar. He pushed her robe up over her behind, then pulled down her pajama bottoms; they were so big and baggy, they practically slid down on their own.

“But, I said I was sorry!”

My sentences of sparky spanking come from one of my earliest books, Four Part Hermony, published in 2002 by Renaissance E Books. It’s a single-author anthology, consisting of F/F stories exclusively. Although I don’t write F/F anymore, I still love the genre and want it to thrive.

This segment is from “Distant Love” (a rewrite from my very 1st published paperback). In this story, Leah and Ranelle are lovers, separated by geography. Leah writes (1st person) a letter to Ranelle recounting times they’ve had together and masturbating to her memories. In this bit, she’s recalling the moment when Ranelle first takes her over her lap.

I’m going to spank you like the bad girl you are, and then I’m going to fuck you ’till you forget all about Ed and everything else.’

This week I’d like to introduce you to book 2 of my Daughter of the Moon series. This one’s entitled, Daughter of the Moon, Book 2: Depths. It takes place after a nuclear holocaust that forces the group of friends down to an underground bunker. It’s a huge space, but still underground and they’re all kind of stuck there for 15 years or so. This takes place during the early part of the book, where Mikhail (our hero) and Sonata (our heroine) are finding their way through the maze of their burgeoning relationship.

Mikhail is telling his friend Hector about what he saw during a “comm” conversation before they went underground. Mikhail is no prude, but Sonata was quite the innocent when this episode transpired. He hates to see her innocence lost, especially to the very jaded Charles.

I could see Sonata behind him on the screen. She got up off the floor and walked away from the video comm, and when I saw her butt I thought she’d been in an accident or something. It was fiery red. I asked if she’d had a bad sunburn or the like, and Charles informed me, nonchalantly, that she’d asked him to spank her and he had.” Mikhail’s voice shook with fury. “He then pointedly told me to keep my nose out of his business. Her sweet ass was bright red, Hector. That was no slap and tickle game they’d been playing.”

Today, I’m sharing a bit from the fifth of the Journey family series, Jackie Draws a Straight. It tells the story of the youngest Journey sibling, Jackie, and her doctor-employer husband, Pete Kaminsky. They go through rather a lot of spankings before they tie the knot. Here are eight sentences from the first of such encounters. Pete had to be talked into this.

I’ve been exploring the Journey family series over the course of July, and on Wednesday for Horny Hump Day, I started giving a peek into the third of the Journey books, Spanking Her Highness. This story is about how, third child, Queenie Journey, falls in love with her neighbor, Will Mazie. She’s quite the spitfire and spoiled brat, so it’s rather a tumultuous beginning.

Here’s a bit of her first spanking. Queenie has a problem with cussing and controlling her temper. Will won’t take any guff from her, warned her, and when she persisted at being a brat, he tossed her over his broad shoulder.

He swatted her sharply on the behind. Twice.

“You can’t spank me! I’ll shoot you! You just see if I don’t.”

Two more spanks on her denim-clad rear and she squawked and flailed. He didn’t drop her, and maybe she was a little glad for that. It was a long way down. But she was pissed off something fierce and wasn’t going to go to her punishment without a fight.

Today, I’m sharing a little of the second book in the Journey family series, Ace-High Flush. (You can also find a sexy segment in my recent Horny Hump Day post.) Ace and Gabby met only a short while ago when she was due for a punishment spanking (she was caught in a serious lie) and Ace’s brother, Trey, couldn’t do it. Ace isn’t much into punishment spankings, but when called upon, he can step up. Poor Gabby has never been spanked before.

He had to give her one thing: she didn’t plead for mercy or beg him to stop. She took it, painful and miserable though it was. Ace didn’t count the strokes.
